Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Device identifier — A random ID generated on your device. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials.
• Display name — The name you choose when joining a plan. This is visible to other plan participants.
• Push notification token — If you grant permission, we store your Expo push token to deliver notifications about your plans.
• Plan data — Titles, descriptions, time slots, votes, comments, and locations you provide when creating or joining plans.

What we do NOT collect

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Contacts or address books
• Location tracking or GPS data (we only store locations you explicitly add to a plan)
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or usage tracking

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the SoonSoon service: creating plans, sharing invites, collecting votes, and sending notifications about plans you participate in.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not serve advertisements.

Push notifications

Notifications are sent via Expo's push notification service. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We only send notifications related to plans you have created or joined.

Data storage

Your data is stored on our servers for as long as your plans are active. Decided plans are retained for your history. We do not have a user account system — your identity is tied to your device.

Data deletion

Since there are no user accounts, your data is tied to your device identifier. If you uninstall the app, your device ID is no longer accessible to you. To request deletion of your data, contact us at privacy@soonsoon.app.

Children

SoonSoon is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
